ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (FULL TIME) – SPENCER OFFICE
Applicants should have an AA in Business with 4 plus years experience preferred. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Assist with ordering of office forms, supplies, making service calls for equipment
- Maintain a filing system
- Maintain contact lists
- Greet and provide general support to visitors and clients
- Act as the point of contact for clients and staff
- Keep firm library and CPE library up to date
- Maintain CPE records for accountants
- Assemble tax returns
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for this position include:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Above average knowledge of office systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including printers, fax machines, and postage machines
- Above average proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Extreme attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Notary or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Able to work extended hours during the months of January through April
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) – SPENCER OFFICE
This part-time position will be 25-32 hours during the months of May through December with hours increasing to 40 during the tax season months of January through April 15. Applicants should have an AA in Business. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Assist with ordering of office forms, supplies, making service calls for equipment
- Assist with maintaining filing system
- Assist with maintaining contact lists
- Greet and provide general support to visitors and clients
- Act as the point of contact for clients and staff
- Assist with keeping firm library and CPE library up to date
- Assist with maintaining CPE records for accountants
- Assemble tax returns
- Fill in for full time administrative assistant when out of the office
- Pick up from and drop off mail to post office
- Other duties as assigned

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/BOOKKEEPER – (FULL TIME) – MILFORD OFFICE
Applicants should have an AA in Business with 4 plus years administrative assistant experience and/or 2 years bookkeeping experience preferred. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Assist with ordering of office forms, supplies, making service calls for equipment
- Maintain a filing system
- Greet and provide general support to visitors and clients
- Act as the point of contact for clients and staff
- Pick up from and drop off mail to post office
- Assemble tax returns
- Document financial transaction details
- Process client payroll
- File quarterly and annual tax payments and returns
- Other duties as assigned

Applicants should possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. Tax and audit experience is beneficial. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Requirements for this position include:
- Ability to prepare individual and business income tax returns.
- Experience with payroll and payroll tax returns is beneficial.
- Advanced skill level using Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.
- Mathematical, grammar, and composition skills.
- Confidentiality of client and Firm information.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use discretion and judgement when making decisions based upon operating policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Applicants should possess an Associate’s or Bachelors degree with 4 plus years of experience. CPA preferred, but not required. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Requirements for this position include:
- Strong knowledge of individual and business income tax laws.
- Ability to prepare individual and business income tax returns.
- Ability to plan and perform audits.
- Experience with payroll and payroll tax returns is beneficial.
- Ability to meet with individuals and small business owners for tax planning and preparation.
- Advanced skill level using Microsoft Word, Excel and Quickbooks.
- Mathematical, grammar, and composition skills.
- Confidentiality of client and Firm information.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
