Sam has an Associates degree in accounting from Iowa Lakes Community College and a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Business Management from Buena Vista College. Sam became a C.P.A. in 2013 and originally joined Winther, Stave & Company in 2007. After 4 years as CFO of a not-for profit public transportation company, he rejoined the firm in 2018. Sam lives in Peterson with his wife Bernie. Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and spending time in the great outdoors.
