Rodney received an Associates degree in Accounting from Iowa Lakes Community College and a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Briar Cliff College. Rod joined Winther, Stave & Co., LLP in 1993 and provides accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services for individuals, small businesses, non-profit, and governmental entities. Rod is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and instructs a QuickBooks class at Iowa Lakes Community College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. Rod shares his accounting skills and knowledge as Treasurer for Spencer Chamber of Commerce, First Congregational Church of Spencer, and the Spencer Y’s Men Club. He and his wife Tami have two daughters and have extended their home to foreign exchange students by being host parents for the EF Foundation.
